I can't find an answer to this, so I'll post it here. So, I pre-ordered a copy of Heavensward from EB Games. Does anyone know when we're going to get our pre-order codes from them?

Have you tried asking on their facebook page?
No, I haven't asked them on their FB page. I'l be doing that tomorrow.
I pre-ordered way before they started giving preorder codes out to the people who ordered it online. I'm not sure if that still matters. I'm pretty uneducated when it comes to these things.
With my internet speed, buying physical copies is the only way I can do things.

Maybe I'm just spoiled by having the NBN.No, I haven't asked them on their FB page. I'l be doing that tomorrow.

I think the problem you're having stems from the fact that you pre-ordered before SE themselves announced the pre-order.
What you did was reserve a copy of the game, rather than an actual pre-order.
Its basically just so that EB can have the minimum number of copies instore for those that showed interest in the game.
IMO, You're better off going back into the store, cancel the existing 'pre-order' and redo it. Your new pre-order should give you pre-order code on the spot.
Quality of gaming improved significantly.
Significantly fewer lag spikes for a start.
The biggest bonus is simply the cost. My old ADSL plan was costing me 100 dollars per month for 8mbit down, 384k up with 30gb Peak (unlimited offpeak) download limit.
My new NBN plan is 90 per month, 100mbps down, 40mbps up with 200gb peak (unlimited offpeak) download limit.
I started XIV after i got on the NBN, so i can't say what the connection was like on anything but.
However, my average WoW Latency to the NA servers on the ADSL was 300+ with the best i ever got was 280.
On NBN, i average 190 ping to the NA servers.
NBN is worth it for the download speeds alone. Took me mere minutes to download the benchmark.
Steam is also REALLY good, i never get less 10mbps downspeed and XIV patching averages around 4, spiking to 6~8 at times.
I guess my advice is, if you have NBN availability in your area, get it.
Exetel offers good deals, I've been with them since they started so i'm a little biased towards them.
Some of my friends are on Optus and only have good things to say on it.
Your best bet is to shop around, the plan prices are and service quality is absolutely worth it.
Don't hope. EB is hopeless.
Cancel your preorder, get it online.
Code is guaranteed, its cheaper and the only drawback is download speed (Got a friend with a good connection? :P).

Shouldn't your preorder code be on your receipt?
That's how EB does it here in Canada.

Your first mistake was pre-ordering from a physical store ...
Not even just being an ass either, I'm Australian too.
They wanted 60 for the standard edition, 300 for the collectors.
Its 60 dollars for the digital CE ... Ad you get the pre-order code instantly.
I preordered a physical copy of the Expansion + Full game (as for some reason, that's the only way to get the preorder code), and I got the code emailed to me about a week ago. EB Games are sending the codes out in chronological order... so for someone who preordered recently, probably get your code next week.

I have called, emailed and even drop a facebook message.
I was informed that distribution of codes hasn't started and that we are to get closer to release....
I hope they get their shit sorted.
