Get a better weapon ASAP. The difference between a good and bad weapon is phenomenal; even though it's not weighted for much in ilvl, the attack stat (yes this does affect healing despite the name) is far, far more important than MND (though you still want to get MND too).

The tanks apparently didn't look at your gear before making those big pulls. But, yeah, upgrade gear and especially your weapon.

To give you an idea... once I had a WHM healing me who's weapon, but no other piece of gear, broke. They went from 2k+ cure IIs or 200~300hp cure IIs.

Well that's not your fault at all. tanks should check you to see if u are geared to heal that amount of damage.

Also healing larger pulls requires practice, use Stoneskin before the pull. when tank finish the pull use regen , eye for an eye (if u have it) and spam cure II also if u see tank's life getting really low remember you have Benediction and always remember that Divine Seal and Shroud of the Saints are your best friends to heal a bit more and refresh mana.

    Good luck

Grats on minion and new weapon!
Pretty much what you listed out will end up being the status quo once you're nice and geared sometime after 50 (in fact, it feels too easy, now... what happened to the mobby CureII spam heart attacks I used to enjoy? ;-; )
Just remember that your weapon will always be your most important piece, next to body/legs/leftside and you'll be good to go while you're going down the road to harder content xD

Also, it sounds a bit like the tank was either really squishy and pulling more than they should have been; did NOT learn the party's limits the first pull; or weren't using any CDs o_O Every now and then, when I get a squishy tank, I'll take a quick few looks to see if they're even using CDs of any sort.... (just keep in mind that the time of first glance and see nothing, I like to give benefit of the doubt that their buffs may be on cool down)

If you are low ilvl and the tank still get big pulls, then its the tank fault, dont panic. Just tell him to not pull so much mobs at once. Maybe he will tell you that you are a n00b, a bad healer etc, but the real problem is the stupid tank thinking that all the healers in dungeons are ilvl~130.

Just get more newer pieces of armor and gl!

This. Back when everyone used to speed run WP I had a tank pull too much and we died. The DPS wanted him to keep pulling big and he said no, I also responded by saying I didn't think I had the gear to handle that and...that was it. If they die or you go OOM I'd say something afterwards about it. They can act like an idiot if they want (some will) but if you don't have the gear then you don't have it.

Why do you assume it's the tanks fault.
Give me any item level that can enter at and I will heal it fine regardless of a 10 pull.

    Weapon upgrade will be best.
Also, I recommend maximizing spell speed as much as possible.
Spell speed food will also help if you have some extra gil to spend

item level maybe, but you can easily fudge the ilevel requirement by equipping iLevel 120 gear and put on an iLevel 35 weapon. Results are gonna vary.

A good way to tell it's the tank's fault is to check if maximum single target healing potential < damage tank has taken. For WHM, the maximum single target healing potential comes from spamming cure II while Divine Seal, Presence of Mind, and regens are active. If, under these conditions, the tank is still losing more health than you can put out, then the tank has either A) severely overpulled based on his own or the healer's gear level, or B) had no idea how to use cooldowns properly.

Using Holy on big pulls is essential as that 3 second stun will let you recover quite quickly. If you time three holy casts just right mobs will stay stunned for 6 seconds. This time is more than enough for the mobs to be aoed down by your dps.

Cleric stance for best results but if you do not feel comfortable stance dancing right now just pop them without cc so you can get used to the rhythm.

I generally start with SS+EFE on tank. Recast stoneskin on tank between pulls or cast a cure (make sure that the tank TAGS everything while they run through. Bad tanks don't tag. Good tanks tag). Once the pull has finished I cast cure2 into regen-> cleric stance-> (swift cast->) Holy-> wait 2 seconds-> holy->holy with bene at the ready.

This was me healing on SCH and was so long ago that it is possible I could have made some mistakes. I didn't say this was the tanks fault, I really liked that he understood he couldn't pull that much after the wipe and stopped. Others keep trying to do it which can be annoying, especially if the healer is a low ilvl, which was my point. If the healer is barley over the requirements, tank does some huge pull, dps aren't up to par (usually because they don't know what they're doing), it's going to be a wipe. You can't just run in and pull like that. You can't assume everyone has the experience, gear, or even knows what they're doing.
Also, did they have ilvl requirements back then? I used to SR with friends as WHM but even then we didn't do the "typical" pulls since me and my husband (the tank) weren't as geared.
