I'm running Win 7 x64 8 gig memory, NV GTX 770 video card on an asus 3d monitor.
According to the NV control panel ff14 should support 3d but I can't see any settings on how to make it happen can someone enlighten me ?

XIV doens't natively support 3D, however when 3D is enabled, the client will show in 3D.
Last I did this, chocobos had a very bad tear to them, as well as other things in game that kinda ruined it for me. Again, its not officially supported, but you can enable it.
Control Panel>Nvidia Control Panel
You should see a panel on the left that says "stereoscopic 3D". Click "Set up stereoscopic 3D" and run the setup wizard.
This should be all you need to do. This essentially turns on 3D mode in general - not just for the game you want.
