DX11 Client, retroactive?

Just looking for a little confirmation.

Will the DX11 client be available to people who have not purchased Heavensward? I dont think it will be something that is a part of the Heavensward package but stranger things have happened.

There has been nothing to indicate that it is locked to those who purchased heavensward.

Considering you'll have to patch to heavensward (at least for gear and class/job ability files) to continue playing, it should just be part of the client download.

I don't believe that the new client will be locked behind the HW expansion, and you should be able to download and install it for free once it's live.

From my understanding, it's available to any owner of the game, as a separate client. No need of an extra purchase.
Meaning you won't simply be able to just patch the game and away you go, but instead download a second client, install relevant updates, and away you go.

I could be wrong though, as the benchmark has them both in the same launcher, which would be handy, I suppose.
