
This was announced as an interim step. 1.18 brought motion while going from active/passive. 1.19 will bring the motion captured animations of putting weapon/tool away or pulling it out while moving forward.As I said, I just came back to the game and maybe this had been changed. I seem to remember my guy stopping dead in his tracks when changing weapons. The current sliding effect is much better in my opinion, but I guess could be prettier. Maybe I am just use to FFXI doing the same thing. I just really want the game to be responsive and not stop what I'm doing for the sake of animation effects. Cleaning up the animations without hindering gameplay is just icing in my opinion.
