Some new player feedback.

Hi all this will be my first post about FFXIV, I am very new to the game so I haven't come that far when it comes to the game. But there is something's that I think should be addressed as these things have bothered me or it would make my gameplay more enjoyable.

First of let me tell you all I am very much liking this game, it is rich in story and lore as well with a beautiful graphics and detailed areas to make it come alive.
The combat system is fun and fells little like the old SEGA 8-bit games I used to play in my younger days. I have read some of the updates that are planned and it sounds all very fun.
But with out further delay here are my suggestions.



different color on user chat and make chat bubbles
It is very hard to see the chat logs by real people as it is fast removed by the chat from the NPC dialogues, and as you can't change the color for just real people it all gets blurred in with the NPC's. Also a small chat bubbles over peoples head would also improve on players response that one is talking to them.


ALT+TAB fix
I read that when you are in full-screen mode and ALT+TAB out to your desktop is by design to make the client crash. As I am sure they have a reason for this that I don't know about this is very annoying, and should be either fixed if its a bug or reworked if its by design.



Able to access graphic options and change graphic options while in game.
As this game is very demanding when it comes to the computer putting on the highest settings on eveything, would probably turn my computer in to a ball of fire in a matter of minutes, with this in mind I also want to have the best graphic running with out me loosing to much FPS.
So with trail and error I change some settings.. Log in... Select my character ...and Then wait for it to load... Test the FPS and log out. And do it again and change another option... And check how much impact it had on the gameplay.

As you realize this is very time consuming and should in my mind be done while in game so I don't have to restart the client all the time (though I got use for the Alt+Tab crash for fast login out )


Sliding when equipping weapon or removing weapon while walking/running
I also noticed that there is a god ugly sliding effect when equipping weapons and removing your weapon while running, please fix.


pressing 'main menu button[home]' should also close all tabs.
If you press the home key you open up your menu ,(that is atleast the default key) and when you then for example access the journal. And then after that access a quest and then after that access the map I have to close all the windows one by one to be able to close the menu. Wouldn't it be easier just to be able to close them all with just clicking the home key again.

I hope my suggestions make sense and if some of the suggestions have allready been mentioned time and time again I am sorry, And this post is by no means meant to complain as I very much enjoy the game and just wanted to return some constructive critisism.
