Unable to switch default audio device

Basically I am unable to switch between audio outputs because there is no option to in the menu. I currently play between speakers, hdmi output to a tv, and a corsair headset all of which I have to restart my game before switching the audio device. The game does not live update to what the default is in windows, and has no option to switch mid game.

Yep I have the same issue, want to stream a movie from the PC, and play the game at the same time? Hang on let me start my game first, then switch default playback devices, then start the movie. I feel your pain. It looks like a static variable is set for the playback device on launch. I have not found anyway around it yet.

I wish this would get the attention it deserves. Apparently it's been a problem from 1.0 I hear and the fact it hasn't been addressed is.. well really depressing. Most games now either update with the OS as it updates, or have a drop down menu allowing you to switch. I don't know why this was even part of the design.
