more likely wont happen.

Or accept the fact it's a limited time event and item.
Please no, please!
Make it $20 in the mog stations.

They've done the event THREE times, folks. It was not a "one-off" event.
1) To coincide with the Japanese release of Lightning Returns
2) To coincide with the NA release of Lightning Returns
3) For the anniversary
Given the anniversary was a HUGE eventstravaganza that also brought back the FFXI and DQX crossovers in addition to the summer events and a little cryptic preview of things to come, it's conceivable to believe that they'll do the same this year.
Which is, honestly, how it should be. Everyone will have an event to look forward to, and it'll be a new "holiday" event. Plus they'd be able to update it with new equipment as new jobs come out (the 2013-2014 version doesn't have NIN, AST, MCH, or DRK weapons, for example)
Though I still wish they'd do a Type-0 crossover. Those uniforms look snazzy.

I second this !For those Players that couldn't get the Haircut from Lighting because they joined FF14 ARR later it would be nice if we could have that Event one more time before Heavensward starts.
Sorry for my English, but i thought that my request will get more Attention in the English Forum

Plenty of online games out there have special events that come and go every few weeks or months. I would like to see more of that in FFXIV, but not just the one-and-done quests we have had for FFXI, DQ. The lightning returns event is closer to what I want. Basically, every few weeks there would be an "invasion" event, there could be a farmable token like with the FFXIII fates, and you could spend the tokens on new cosmetics based on the event theme. There could be an event every 2 or 3 weeks, existing events would rotate while a new event is added every few months, and each time an event returns there would be new items associated with it, such as weapons from FFXIII for the four new classes that have been added.
Why get rid of events when you can EXPAND on them?
