That's considerably easier said than done. It sounds great on paper, but the fact we have to have security patches at all demonstrates at how impossible a task this is. I'm not talking about just SE either, operating systems, web browsers, routers, mobile devices... we live in a world where updates are continually made available to fix security problems that weren't originally known about.

Good. If there was a possible issue with my account, I'd rather they blocked everyone from it, including me, until it could be resolved/deemed safe again. I've personally put way too much effort in over the last 4 years to not be paranoid.

You mean SE doing refunding/reversing/rolling back accounts when a problem happens? Yes that's great, but not sure they want that much hassle.

Like everyone else I want a mobile app as well, but security has to be taken very seriously.
