PS4 Pre-order confusion

It's almost a month away, can we stop with all these sky is falling threads and just learn something called patience?

The deadline is only two and a half weeks away, and when it's broken (which it clearly is) it can take longer than that to fix the problems, so anyone who wants either early access or pre-order items is running out of time. If you don't care about either early access or pre-order items, then sure, if you wait until a month or two after release I'm sure it'll be working smoothly by then and you'll be able to just buy the expansion and register it. The problem is that it's not working that smoothly for those trying to pre-order it.

PSN isn't accepting orders. SE's store isn't accepting PS4 CE orders. Amazon has accepted orders but isn't sending out the pre-order codes until it's too late to register them. Apparently there are some local stores that are supposed to have pre-order codes but don't. ... I'd really like to know whether there's anyplace we can pre-order from that actually is working, because so far, all I've heard is one place after another after another that's not. And still no word from SE about what's going on with any of them.

You'd think SE would have learned after the clusterfuck that ARR launch turned into. It's not like this is the first time SE has ever tried to sell something. They should have the kinks worked out of the process for letting us buy it. (Have they ever had a release that ran smooth?)

I just redeemed my code for PS4 and it still says "pending". Hoping it all updates on the 2nd...would like to be able to go to Ishgard from the comfort of my recliner on my 50' TV lol

Seeing as how I just got notification that they are charging me for the collector's edition shortly after the first of June, I wouldn't be at all surprised to find I'll have the physical pre-order on my porch before the 18th anyway. and if not whats the worst I'll lose? a couple of days headstart? O.O oh noes I didn't get World First Bard to 60.. oh wait, I'm not gonna do that anyway

Wrong actually. 22 days away for early access, and 26 days for launch. 22 days is over a week less than a month. We have 3 weeks left, and no game available for preorder on the PSN store comes this close to game launch. Preorders are usually available months ahead of time, or at worst a month before launch. So concern is natural at this point, and is why even people that use to say "It will come when it comes. Be patient." are now expressing concern. And if it isn't on the PSN store after the June 2nd store update, since they update it weekly, then that's going to be even more reason to worry. There's also a cutoff point for the codes which is before the early access.

The code dose nope come with the game but your email and the full game is not due out till the June 23 so your not understanding why ppl like me are upset i want to pre order the game but. SE site is some how sold out of the ps4 CE {or on waiting until they won't say} and there is no other CE beside the 129$ NA ver pc on the other hand gets a 59$ CE and 129$ sold on the site lucky them. psn NA/EU are left in the dark about when we can pre order the game as well as steam and last will the NA codes work in time? SE dose not care to say

The deadline for anything is gonna be one day before its release. So in this case as long as you preorder before June 23rd you will get the preorder bonus items. Early access is just that , early access. Let's suppose you come in on your ps4 and buy the game on the 22nd of June. Guess what you get your bonuses and because you bought it digitally you have no code to fool with. Relax it will be there. Of course you won't get early access buying that late but you get your items.

i have looked everywhere, and have not found where there was a deadline said anywhere. there isnt one on the preorder site, and there isnt anything said in the preorder thread, so i am inclined to think that this deadline has been created by the players, until otherwise is proven.

All the forum (player) references to it I've seen discussed June 14th as a deadline for registering the pre-order codes, but in a search on that date and Heavensward the only reference I've found directly from SE is in their Store saying "Orders received after June 14th, 2015 11:59pm PST will arrive after the Release Day." When we have to order it by and when we have to have received and registered the code are two different things, so I'm not sure whether that's the deadline that the posts I've seen were referring to, or whether there's something else that date as well.

i would think that any order after that date wouldnt be able to make it to the person that is ordering in time, thus them saying any order after that date will arrive after the 23rd.

I'm certain most of us couldn't care less about the bonus items, at least I really don't, what matters most to me is the early access.
