For now, yes it is right, keep in mind these are all optional storylines you are talking about. I have not even completed second coil myself, namely because I cannot dedicate the time commitment to a static. I have accepted this and decided to watch the story on youtube. Is it the same as doing it, no, but it is acceptable for now. Remember, this was content designed to make those very skillednplayers happy. There is a ton of easier content, literally everything besides coil and primal exs, that doesnt have a "insanely difficult" version to make those skilled ayers happy.

Also, if you absolutly have to experience the story by entering the dungeon, there will bwe the option to enter with less players and not level sync. So you will be able to enter all the coils with 7 people at ilvl 200 or however high, and smash them.

I don't think its right, and i hope Alexander provides a something for more players to enjoy together, then if people want the hard version they can get the hard version.

If(and this is if, i know they said they aren't going this way) the way things are now actually got worse(as in more harder, more exclusive) in hw, I think eventually you'd see less raiders and more animosity between the haves and have nots.

Actually they have done right in Heavensward as they see the current locking of story behind hard group progression as wrong, There'll be a normal mode of Alexander for people to experience the story and the Savage mode for raider's to go bludgeon themselves in.

I should emphasize the IF. I know of the two modes, and I think it sounds like a good idea.

Alex normal has been stated as harder than CT. Yes, more will prbably get through it, but there will be some incapable of improving and will be stuck trying to get through it. Not to mention the more complex rotations players will need to learn to pass the content when there are still players who cant even figure out the simpler rotations we have now.

It wont be 24 person content so some bad players won't be able to be carried as easily as what happens in all the versions of CT.

Alex normal is aimed at mid tier difficulty, not face roll derp difficulty. But that won't stop lazy self entitled players jumping on the forums, when they realise it is too hard for them, crying on the forums for nerfs.

Everyone pays the same, true, but everyone has access to all the same content. It's upto the individual if they can improve themselves to a point they can clear it. If you want something enough, you will find a way. The only thing blocking you from content is yourself and how much effort you want to put in towards acheiving that goal. Not the game or SE.

Though they're is talk of a story mode coil for those that 'care' about the story just don't expect any welfare gear.

See thats just a snide remark, NO ONE has asked for gear they only want to see the story so get off your high horse and stop hiding behind the welfare gear argument its invalid.

If they do an easy mode I wish that it doesn't give gear at all, or it gives gear worse that the gear you can get in dungeons. If they give gear better that the one of dungeons then the optimal process the get geared could be going at the easy mode each week then go to the hard mode, people could get tired of that raid if they do it 2 times per week

Your comment about content "for raiders to bludgeon themselves in" set the snide tone there.

For what it's worth, I see learning and clear parties for T9 on my server all the time. My raid static throws a learning party up in PF on Saturday nights to help people learn whatever content their little hearts desire outside of Savage SCoB. There are ways to get through it, if one simply looks. If you can't find a learning party, simply make your own.

To be honest with most hardcore progression raiders it's all about trying to be the first to beat content and put it on farm you'll find alot of those raiders will infact skip story because it disrupts the levelling so they can get to the next level of raiding content asap, it's becoming all too common and the norm in modern mmo's & I have played mmo's with my husband for over 15 years.

There are those raiders that don't care about the story, but you might be surprised at how many actually do. I've actually sat and had discussions about the Coil lore with other people that enjoy raiding and enjoy the story.
