    Warrior Novus Stats

Been searching the web for the perfect stat allocation for the Bravura Novus. With new updates and the expansion coming along, I just wanted to get the opinions of current players. What stats do you guys have on your weapon?

Well, can't really ses why you'd like to optimize your Novus, knowing that we'll have better weapons than the zeta in three weeks, but good luck \o/

I'd personnally go with Skill Speed and Det... Det is rather classic, maximizes your DPS and so, but Skill Speed may seem... Really weird. Yet, when you reach 421 in SS, you get to be able to use one more skill while using Berserk (or whatever it's called in English, can't remember the exact name right now), which can greatly increase your dps, and will help you getting the Inner Beast buff quicker. It maximizes your DPS and your mitigation... Yet, not really sure whether or not it's more profitable than an other stat, so... Wait for others answers before following my advice, I may be wrong, Just trying to help !

you only need 376 skill speed for 9 hit. You just hafta watch your timing. 421 is overkill. But anyhow.. you can get 20 from dreadworm gloves and another 15 from numerous other sources... but if your not doing Final Coil or buying accessories to pentameld, adding the sks to your weapon ain't a bad idea.

376 is the minimum for 9 hit. 390-400 is more then enough for most everyone. 421 is from Xeno's WAR guide, it is not the correct amount for a 9hit, it was the amount he happened to be using at the time of the guide.

Oh, didn't know that, thanks !

Well, he can still meld SS on it and optimize his stuff according to that, right ? I don't feel like verifying every piece of armor there is at i130, but maybe would it be more optimized to gather SS with the relic than with other stuff... Don't know, though, I'm probably wrong again, I am not really a PvE player x)

Just don't do an expensive meld. If stats carry over you can remeld, if not, you save the gil for hw.

"Perfect" is in the eye of the beholder.

Ideally you'd drop max det on it since a quirk of the system allows you to put some extra stats on that way.
Add in max crit and you've got the strongest DPS weapon you can have.
    That's super expensive.

So a cheap but useful option would be take det and crit up until you need materia IV. Then put the rest into accuracy. I find the accuracy helps a bunch in giving you more gear flexibility when you don't get the drops you want.

It looks like, in heavensward, you won't need to have so much accuracy since they're adding an accuracy buff to the tank stances. Then, to stay on the cheaper side, you might go three-way between det, crit, and skillspeed.

So ideally, max det and crit?

Yes DET is the most important. But these weapons will be useless in less then a month. I wouldn't sink much Gil into them.
