Even eye for an eye adds enmity. The tank pulled a pack of monsters. He only use tomahawk on one and ran to the next group. I casted eye for an eye on the tank I took hate from the mobs that he didn't attack

Energy Drain definitely impacts enmity like any other attack spell. Just to be sure I went to a dummy just now, did a Ruin on it, then did a Whispering Dawn on me + Eos. I let the duration go all way so there was plenty of healing aggro built up and Eos had 1 on aggro, I was green. 6 Cleric Stance Energy Drains later and I'm beating her by a couple % of aggro.
Over half of your Aetherflow stacks should be used on Energy Drain.
Do I have to remind you of your own posts?Wow, you seem to be just as aggravating as the last guy. First off lets look at the post you quoted.
The first post you quoted is of me calling the others guys statement rude. and talking about how my original statement involved Bane, NOT ENERGY DRAIN, the other player Kisai was talking about Energy Drain, not me. The move I was talking about was Bane.
>Well I didnt forget Bane or Energy Drain since they aren't attack spells, granted Assize might be similar to Energy Drain but I dont know.
Energy Drain also works perfectly on dungeon bosses and overworld mobs, so it's not just useful in a "raid environment".
Another player already explained uses of Aetherflow abilities pretty well, so I'm not going to go in on that, but the more experienced and overgeared for content, the less Sacred Soil and Lustrate you will need. The second post you quoted is of me asking why the person I asked made it seem like they used Energy Drain as a regular attack, when as a Healer, the other moves that were mentioned are a bit more important. I was asking her a question, not indicating Energy Drain is useless. And Yeah I know how to use Energy Drain, I know how to do my job, and be humble doing it, doubt I could say the same for you. Oh and FYI I never run out of MP.
If you really want to go that way calling me out on being a bad player, I can pull the card of having dreadwyrm gear compared to your ironworks gear.
For the last point, it wasn't a direct pointing at you, but all people posting things without proof (Energy Drain doesn't increase enmity) or posting about classes/mechanics without any experience on it (ie not having leveled said classes). I've been browsing the forums for quite a while now and it happens more often than you think.
To get back to the original topic, afaik we don't know anything about it so I won't speculate too much about it as well. I'm not gonna keep reading here so have fun theorycrafting.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

The classic tonberry spell step mine, or "traveler" would be something interesting to see. Though I don't know how it would even be implemented.

O.O I didn't expect to cause such a furore by saying that Energy Drain IS a damaging spell. And I agree it isn't part of a SCH's basic DPS rotation, it's more situational than that. Aetherflow is off cooldown but you have a charge still; Energy Drain does very nice damage AND it gives you some MP back. Better than wasting that charge IMO. But mostly I use it to help out the DPS in situations like the adds phase in Tamtara HM's last boss. They die before they reach the centre, I have to heal less! And if one of the players is a newish 50, a big Red Wedding can take them out
