Lets just pray they don't come here then.

Well to start where the other thread left off.. i really hope its instance cause i do not wanna be fighting claim wars again.
You'd think they would have mentioned it being instanced by now if it were.
Either way, I'm excited as they look to be decently sized and have quite a bit to do in them.
I'm excited too, by the prospect of new beastman camps. I hope that there at least three camps, corresponding to the three aggressive beast tribes of Amalj'aa, Ixali, Kobolds. Given the increase in presence of all of those beastmen, and the note:
I hope it's true.More beastman strongholds and numerous other notorious monsters aside from those mentioned above will descend to plague Eorzea come patch 1.19.
Regarding the instanced versus open-world thing... I think have both some instanced and some open-world content is good. We already have Darkhold (and I hope that it is updated with some relevant gear to keep it fresh), and the new Ifrit battle (which is presumably instanced), so have three new open-world areas to explore works for me. As people have pointed out, it worked well in Aion, and there was only one camp, while here there will be three camps for people to spread out to. There are also a lot of possible hybrid strategies that the team could develop, where parts of the camp could be "overworld instanced" in the way that leves are, so I suppose we'll just have to wait and see!
On a final note, since the Ixali have been making inroads in to Coerthas, and have a camp set up in Fields of Glory, I wonder what is planned for Coerthas???
Oh i did check it though..
Only 5 pages...and i looked for the [dev1136] as SE requests that to be in the title lol.
So i overlooked his post :-) Mistakes happen ;-)
Three Beastman Strongholds Amal'jaa, Ixali and Kobald were confirmed in the letter from the producer outlining 1.19 content. I imagine it Ixali will be in shroud, and Kobald in La Noscea.I'm excited too, by the prospect of new beastman camps. Darkhold better not be updated with new gear. I don't want to have continue going back there simply because they added new drops to fights we have already done dozens of times.
I like that they add placesMore to explore :-)
Oh, there was many elite areas.
Verteron: Tursin Outpost, Tursin Garnison
Eltnen: Kaidan Mine, Kaidan HQ, Eracus Temple Cavern
And more in Heiron and Asmodea
Here is a video about Kishan Village in Heiron: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhIY2duMFr0
Thats probably right but we'll never know... he was the one that posted asking for Mender's ward when we already have one too.
Other thread is back on topic now too (and I thought dev tags were supposed to be in the tag cloud, not the topic title? idk i guess i never use them)
This thread is beginning to make sense now.he was the one that posted asking for Mender's ward when we already have one
