


That sounds like he might be referring to the FC Airship Exploration stuff.After reading and "listening" the interview, Yoshi says clearly that this new content where we will get lost, is not an instanced dungeon, on the other hand the ffxi area Airget used as example was an open world dungeon (semi instanced because it required a zone, but free to enter for all), i'm not saying this will be the case, but i'm out of better ideas.

50-60 will take as long as 1-50? Ouch. I was excited about leveling DRK when the expansion came out and doing the story as DRK, but without a solid week to play it'll take months to hit 60.
Well if they wont allow us to use inner beast in deliverance or something equal ill be mad lol


when 50-60 really takes as long as 1-50 then leveling all the classes to max will be a "nice" grind, unless the bonus for having a class at 60 is higher than the current armory bonus.
since i was torn between bringing an old class to 60 to access all stuff and leveling DRK afterwards or just going DRK from the beginning (considering I wanna change main to it, if it plays well) I'll better save quests until DRK is 50...
but maybe SE is just exaggerating a bit...

My guess would be that they intend the first class to 60 will take as long, due to story quest.when 50-60 really takes as long as 1-50 then leveling all the classes to max will be a "nice" grind, unless the bonus for having a class at 60 is higher than the current armory bonus.

Didn't they confirm that there would be no new traits in 3.0? If that's the case, WHM is going to be a super disadvantage being stuck with the 80 potency Shroud at level 60 when the natural level increase jacks up all the skill MP costs as well (SCH won't notice a difference since Aetherflow automatically scales with Max MP pool). They might just be giving WHM fun new DPS tools that they will never be able to fundamentally use due to lack of MP xD


Considering that the potency is fixed for every action regardless of level, it shouldn't be too difficult for Shroud to scale while keeping the same potency.
