How does SE plan to handle any DDOS (if one does happen) on early acces?

I ask this because I my self have delt DDOS many times in mmos and its extremely frustrating to deal with. Such as the early access for Archeage that was DDOS for good 2-3 days.

My question isnt really about HOW Square Enix will stop it. (If one was to happen. What I truly hope doesnt) But more along the lines of how will they make sure "US the players" who preorder Heavensward for early access are rewarded IF one was to happen?

I understand that they cant simply make early access longer and delay the official launch. But surely there is something?

I wouldn't worry about it, the servers are going to crash anyway....
