So me and my partner trying get marriage we was talking to the ceremony outfitter she wont give us the next quest because of the emote we got how do we delete it?

Having the emote shouldn't deny you getting the quest again, I had to do it 2 different times on times on the same character and it let me do it with the emote and giving me a second set of dresses. Are both of you at the same quest? Do you have your wrist thingy on? Are you both in a party? (The party & the wrist is a big thing I think). Also, does the quest say talk to her or do something else? I know that the different steps require you to bring crafted rings or go around and pray to stuff...
