Plumes of Vortex issue

So when you try this item on off the AH its much more elaborate then when you get the item crafted and put it on. Normally wouldn't matter but this item goes for 1.2 mil on balmung and it was sad to see how dull it looked after buying it for glam. Pretty much a waste. When you try it on through the AH there are very bright feathers that fly all over you. After buying it though you can hardly see the feather.

Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe worth fixing?

It's probably just the lighting in the area you're in vs. the lighting in the "try on" window.

I wish it was, then I wouldn't feel like it was such a waste. You have have to equip the item your self to see what I'm saying, vs the try on MB function.

Really no big deal though. Lesson learned, wanted to see if anyone else noticed this.

I'd love to offer solutions but I'm not ready to drop millions of gil for personal testing.
