They reused the design of the lv41 spear for the basic pvp i70 spear which you can buy cheaply. I am using it for glamor too.

Players don't need incentive. This is old content. If you want a challenge, there is a plethora of new content. The only reason they're even keeping the level sync as an option is for people who whine about nerfs.Players Need Incentive!!! I cannot stress that enough. The majority of the playerbase will not opt to level syncing if the gain is the same as doing it with max lvl/ilvl... The "challenge" for the sake of a "challenge" is not enough. With overcoming a challenge, players want to see the fruits of their labor rewarded. No one cares about bragging rights. You might as well not even implement the lvl sync feature...
What bragging rights could you possibly get out of these dungeons other than having run them when they were fresh? They're not hard to begin with. People need to get a grip, seriously.

If you wanna put on shiny show in Mor Dhona there is going to be plenty of stuff to swag from other upcoming content.
....The dungeons may not be challenging, no. But the queue can be. Doing a low-level roulette these days as a dps class, or even queuing up for a specific dungeon needed for MSQ (whether it be Totorak, Haukke or Stone Vigil) can take hours if you're unlucky or have a different playtime than the majority on your server/servercluster. To be able to run it with a smaller group and non-synched (say go in as two lvl35s to Totorak) would help a LOT. It offers an easier and less frustrating way of running them. Whether you want to run them for MSQ reasons (levelling up an alt to make it Heavensward-eligible or for new players starting fresh) or for gearing up or for gathering up that particular glamour set you want and haven't managed to get before... The queue is just as bad ^^
I lost count of how many times I ran through Brayflox normal to get the infantry boots. Had all the other parts from all three sets and just needed those boots. So badly. Seen them drop a couple of times, always lost the roll to someone else. Gone in fully preformed multiple times while helping one or two friends with their relic drops -- never saw the boots drop. (When I finally got them earlier this year? My retainer brought them from a quick venture...)
If I could have breezed through the place unsynched, it would have taken a fraction of the time to get it, plus I wouldn't have to either gather up three friends willing to go with me on multiple runs when THEY didn't need anything... or roll against other people who sometimes needed them as upgrades but most of the time just autogreeded/-needed on everything for GC seals =/
The gear wouldn't be "handed" to me. I'd still have to run the thing. Probably more times than the number of gear items I wanted if I got unlucky with the drops. But it would make it a lot less frustrating to get hold of those items.
Of course, I have the "upgraded" infantry boots, too. Use them in my Mnk/Nin glamour. But if I could use for example black-dyed infantry boots in my tank glamour? Or white? Or, you know, anything that doesn't have those magenta laces in the back :p
(Of course, if the gear that have crafted equivalent became dyeable, those crafted ones would become a bit less sought after, since it's not the stats you want now but just the appearance... But on the other hand, they're not as difficult/expensive to craft these days as they were back when the stats were important.)
But I've already said this before ^_^ And your opinion is equally valid. I just don't agree with it ^^

expert rouletes(the same LOL) for lv60 ONLY?! D:<
so we have to grind to lv60 1st before we can get the new tomes from expert roulete?! Thats SO Stupid!!!!!!!!!!!
How the new players will get the new tomes...?
Couldnt SE make a own "Expert+" roulete for lv60 dungeons only?!
Neeeeato. I wonder if it'll be viable to run through solo, and if so, if DPS would be at all viable for it. Also curious about the restrictions on drops, and other specifics.
Please don't throw me into a category. With the frequency endgame content (which I'm referring to) gets nerfed in this game, the majority of the player base waits vs doing it when it's fresh. If your not in a static, or if you're like me who cant consistently commit to designated raid times, getting a pick up group is hard. Believe me, when I do get to play, I would love to do content pre-nerfs just for the sake of challenge alone. All I'm saying is if SE is going to give players the option of removing echo and or tagging on a lvl sync then do something that draws players to it, so players like me can form parties and run endgame "as intended"Players don't need incentive. I love Challenging myself, I love finding ways to better optimize my job and my ability, and I could careless about Shiny gear drops. My only problem is being over ruled because more often then not I come across players who say "Why?" and "What's the point?" Hell, maybe if doing content with lvl sync or w/o echo awarded extra tombs It might incline players to want to do it...

Glad that they are putting this kind of content where you can solo the dungeon. But i'm just wondering why they are putting this kind of system this early, I know i remember Yoshi-p mention something about having a free company militia where you can recruit and form a part with to do a dungeon; i just forgot which letter was on.
I have an alt on Levi, only SCH/SMN are lvl 50 at the moment and as I'm still gearing SCH my SMN is pitifully geared for a level 50 but I do love doing unorthodox dungeon runs if you want to do that sometime. I've done a few all-SMN runs on my main and SCH wouldn't be a stretch.Yeah, I'm unfortunately assuming the same as well lol. Not that much of a problem I guess. Adds a bit of incentive for a challenging alternative to the current exp grind. I had a lot of fun soloing some dungeon stuff on the SCH. It's just a PITA to find/bother folks that are willing to help you queue then drop... as short of a time that is to queue and drop.
The other challenge I want to start doing is some dungeon runs where the full party is in First Person POV mode the entire run through. Just talked some people into it for part of Main Scenario Roulette to keep it interesting, I had to back out of it in Ultima though for the sake of not letting the first-timers die.
So any chance this means we will be able to enter these low level dungeons with our chocobos? Would be nice if it becomes a good way to level them. Mines at level 17 and needs 3.1 million XP to level up. Would be nice to take them in dungeons and get like 100k per run like players do.
