Perfect change!
Hi and thank you for the clarification.Greetings,
Just for clarification, using this system will not remove the item drops, therefore you can use this feature to obtain minions, equipment for glamour, and the items needed to upgrade Zodiac weapons.
Additionally, there is no item level sync, so you'll be able to enter content at the highest level and item level.
On the other hand, if you are looking for more of a challenge, then you can use another feature which will sync to the lowest level set for that duty.
The development team is looking forward to seeing how everyone will use these new feature to create your own unique challenges and group events. They plan on using what they see as reference for future development.
I have a question. This system will work only for dungeons or for Coil / Trials too?
Thank you.
This isn't what I'm getting out of it. This sounds like a "time trial" mode. Beat a certain time, get a certain bonus. Dragging a lowbie through the dungeon would be counter-productive since experience is divided by members in the party, so they would get the same experience if you drag them through it or if they just do it normally.Sounds more like they are doing this to help people get other people through the content faster. For example one high level player drags a lowbie player thru the dungeon so they can gear up and get completion. Unlike the poster above me, I actually think leaving the loot tables for the old content alone is wise. Because it wont have much use later on anyways (except maybe glamors), so why nerf or remove the drops?
If this is true this is brilliant, because the higher the levels get, the harder it will be for new folks to get through the old content.
After reading through the translation of the article, there are some really awesome things in there!Super excited for the new raid (that hopefully wont be as punishing to those with minimal time on their hands)
It's NOT fun to be dragged through a dungeon.
The way it's being described sounds like the "no sync" option is for farming materials, or for speedrun/time-trials. It's actually a bit disappointing actually, because in other games, this generally renders old content unplayable and broken, and the instances get overwhelmed with farming bots.Greetings,

In the one game that had a time-trial mode, players just cheated (eg room hacked) their way to the final boss. Sure legitimate players would try to use the boss time-trial to farm some rare items that were unique to the boss time trial but because there was a leaderboard, hacks would be used to make sure they were on top.
On the flip side actually syncing the level/gear to the minimum required would restore the difficulty of the dungeons to where they should be for people who actually want to play the content/storyline and not be dragged through it by players who've played since launch.
My suggestion to Triple Triad players...
Do <5 minute runs of Cutters Cry on a lv60 character until you get the chimera card.
Run directly to the bosses, lock out or aoe down any monsters that followed you. yay![]()
Has any place mentioned if you can enter solo or if you need a minimum of two people?![]()
Some of the most fun times I've had in WoW have actually been with a friend or two trying to get achievements and transmog (glamour) from old raids and getting rekt by the bosses because they still have mechanics. There was also mount rewards for a speed run for a couple of dungeons and minions that could be sold. Heroic difficulty raids of the previous expansion still gave a nice challenge when soloed. The Death Knight class developed a sub culture of trying to solo everything up to and including some of the easier current content. I can't wait for the removal of level sync! Hopefully it is also extended to trials, Coils and Crystal Tower.
I just wanna kill the giant golem of the first boss in AK. *shrug*
Used to do this in 1.0 all the time.
Totorak, minimum 2 people, no level sync. Would gain entry with my alt and then solo farm for items and seals. Fun times. much seals.
I just want to use it to run Stone Vigil until I get the dragoon weapon. I think I've only ever seen it drop once and I didn't win it. But it's one of the coolest looking weapons in the game.
I imagine ppl will do this for their AV clears. I won't lie, I would if I still HAD to clear it.
