It would be interesting if the Exp in dungeons got scaled depending on how many people did them... So if you went in solo, you'd get a lot more exp than you'd get if you were in a party of four. Of course also with some possible scaling depending on your level (currently, you don't get any exp for mobs if they're too many levels below you, so I'd expect something similar in dungeons as well). It'd provide an interesting method for levelling alternative classes. Go in solo or with one partner and do your best to survive, and get a ton of exp as a reward...

Probably because of copyright issues. Since it's a Famitsu interview, the copyright belongs to Famitsu, and SE would have to buy the rights to it in order to publish even translations of it.
Or it's just a matter of, "it's just something extra -- fans will read the original interview anyway. What do you mean they don't all speak Japanese? Bah." :p

Well, even if you need one more person to enter, nothing says that person can't leave the dungeon once you're in, right? That's how we have the Solo Scholar Dungeon youtube videos =D

I'm aware that you can do it that way... I just wanted to know if anything was said about this applying even for solo entry, assuming the right options are selected of course.
From the most recent event I only recall it being an option for premade parties with less than otherwise required number of players. So, is solo a subset of premade party, or is it not considered at all...

That we won't know until the end of June (or later, if it's not implemented from the start) =D (or until someone official comments on it, of course *sets out some Grekumah traps* :3)
I'm hoping we'll be able to go in solo, of course, since the workaround is... well... a workaround. Not a solution.

Because it was not a "dev" or community manager that posted it on Reddit. It was a person who watched the interview and translated it. There is actually a lot of good info over at the FFXIV Reddit page that you don't get here.

The mechanics of Cerberus and Cloud of Darkness can be also hard to do them solo
