I think this just applies to dungeons not to the raids (Coils, WoD, etc); However, there is no clarification about that. I would definitely like more information about this being available or not in the raid dungeons.![]()
Wow people is overreacting to this, don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but soloing will not be easy, a soloer can't take down a primal ex, or certain HMs, CTs are out of question these have mechanics designed for various players, and even as lvl60 with ilvl170 some of the 2.4 and 2.5 dungeons will be hard to solo, and of course coil will be impossible at least without the echo, and even with it i don't think a soloer will be able to clear t4.
That said, i have done AK in duo, and AV carrying 2 players (almost duo because of deaths lol) many times, so most of the dungeons will be soloable.
Buuut... HYPE! i will love this feature.
Read: "...of the dungeon sets which aren't..," there are dungeon sets like the i80 from Lost City or i90 which still aren't dyeable, even through crafting means.
1 Minion & 1 Mount for such a feat is not much to ask for too.
Hardly, most players have been incredibly well beyond the minimum specs of lvl. 50 dungeons since 2.1~.
Few players actually strip their gear just for the sake of it, let alone everyone in a party.
If speaking of leveling dungeons, sure there are sometimes where a player goes in at bare-minimum, but again--every other person likely isn't.
They can always make a harsh time-trial part of the achievement(s) too, so players in bare gear really have to pressure progress.

I wonder if the way it will work is instead of the duty cancelling when not everyone in the DF hits Accept, it'll just throw you in with however many hit it. Like in Frontlines!

Yeah, I said I read it lol. I meant, you need to unlock every item before you can use a roulette - so now as a new player you have even more stuff to do before you can use it. Thats all I meant, how will combining even more stuff before being able to use affect new players. Don't know about you but after the fad of leveling goes away some leveling dungeons take a while to queue (unless tank or healer, even then sometimes a while) - roulette was an ok method of just getting something done, particularly for that great once a day bonus.
Of course there are other methods but all day FATE is /seppuku, and suggesting to level one job to "low level Heavensward dungeons" before leveling something else would just lead to hazing as they would likely be missing a lot of key cross class abilities. Its not impossible (FATE/Leve/Single Dungeon non daily bonus queue), it just sounds annoying if I were new.

This is the solution to MSQ requirements. New player does quest uo to stone vigil (example). Free company guy that's 60 runs them through 10 mins. New guy gets no xp but does get quest xp and can move onto other quest. This was actually one of the things I said would have to be considered for them to lock heavensward content. Which probably means at least all HMs would be uncapped.
For fun. S&G. nostalgia. It can be enjoyable to be challenged by something you've beaten to death once in a while. Like it could be a lot of fun to go into it as an underwhelming dps and healer duo to prove you can handle it o.oAwesome, thank you! I know in a certain other MMO with several expansions worth of old content, a favorite pastime of mine was going back through old content for cool armor sets. I appreciate the lack of item level sync. It makes for a non-stressful enjoyable trip down memory lane getting some awesome vanity pieces along the way.
The main point is not that you must, but that you can, more freedom is better.
Ah, my mistake. Still though, this isn't a feat. The dungeons aren't challenging. They weren't really meant to be. I mean hey, I'm all for having free stuff thrown at me but that's essentially what they'd be doing.
Besides, if they were to do something like this, we wouldn't get it the second we got done with the content. It would be much smarter to add incentives to run it a bit further down the road when there are almost no people running it. With what they have announce so far, there will still be people running it for a while.
Players Need Incentive!!! I cannot stress that enough. The majority of the playerbase will not opt to level syncing if the gain is the same as doing it with max lvl/ilvl... The "challenge" for the sake of a "challenge" is not enough. With overcoming a challenge, players want to see the fruits of their labor rewarded. No one cares about bragging rights. You might as well not even implement the lvl sync feature...Greetings,
Just for clarification, using this system will not remove the item drops, therefore you can use this feature to obtain minions, equipment for glamour, and the items needed to upgrade Zodiac weapons.
Additionally, there is no item level sync, so you'll be able to enter content at the highest level and item level.
On the other hand, if you are looking for more of a challenge, then you can use another feature which will sync to the lowest level set for that duty.
The development team is looking forward to seeing how everyone will use these new feature to create your own unique challenges and group events. They plan on using what they see as reference for future development.
