What purpose would crunching the ilvls of gear serve? The max ilvl could be i999 and it would have the same meaning as if the max ilvl was i200 if done properly, what matters is how are stats increase with the intervals of ilvls. ilvl is just a number attached to gear to signify linear progression. The jumps it makes are negligible in the face of stat progression.
