    Fishing Idea

    I know there's a lot of wish for some fort of tackle box, i personally don't really mind how it works now. Instead i would rather see some of the RNG taken out of it.

    Example, currently in some area there's up to 8+ fish ranging from lvl 1-50 currently you can only start fishing for a level 30 fish with level 30 bait(Big fish not included) but with that level 30 bait you can catch everything under level 30. I would like to see some sort of filtering on baits so that the higher level the bait the low level fish can't eat it or something, maybe 15 or so levels, maybe 20, something so when we are going after that one fish we want you don't have to fight through all the fish in that area.

    Fishing Idea 2

    The other idea is something to eat up some GP and maybe make Release a more positive ability, my idea is some sort of stacking buff gained by releasing a fish back(letting it grow), the stacking buff would eat GP when a fish is released and the buff would be a higher chance to catch a HQ fish, of course once the HQ fish is caught the buff would fall off, and the buff how ever many stacks you feel would cap at +15% bringing the HQ chance to 30% which seems to be the max for all gathering, since it would fall off when a HQ fish is caught it wouldn't effect a Mooch(since mooching is already around a 30% HQ chance. i believe this would serve many fishers after rare double and triple mooch fish.

    There are filtering effects on baits already.

    you will see that midge baskets are far superior to syrphid baskets while mooching for ninja bettas.

    Yes, I do understand there is a one direction filter on the bait, I'm suggesting maybe having a two direction filter, not for the low level fish, but for the higher level ones.

    The level of the bait vs the level of the fish is one filter.

    But some fish have a preference for some baits and avoid others in their level range. For instance you can't catch rock lobsters at reaver hide with a yumizuo. So that is a second filter. Fish preferences.

    You wish a third, bait too high level for low level fishes.

    that is still the same filter, rock lobster is a level 50 fish where the bait Yumizuo is level 48, my idea is why should yumizuo, the lvl 48 bait, be able to catch the Merlthor Goby and Lominsan Anchovy when it's such a higher level than the fish.

    I understand what you are saying, and you can always catch fish 5 levels higher than your bait.

    The rock lobster is a bottom dweller but then again the yumizuo can catch red coral and oysters. So I don't understand the why of that exclusion, I am just happy its there.
