What, crafters don't have enough tens of millions already? lol
Plus Materia will be huge for crafters anyways :P
It will just be a boring grind for DoW/DoM and it shifts the tiered HQ business (already in game) to a new area. It doesn't add anything. Materia adds nothing to crafting. But people just use materia as an excuse to justfy marginalising crafters even more.

A lot of people seem to assume that it's gonna be a huge army vs. 1 NM with the new claim system; who's to say the more people hitting the NM the more backup the NM will call?

When have the NM drops been 10 times better than similar crafted items? NQ crafted items are a little worse but HQ crafted items in a lot of cases are arguably better. Even in the cases where +1 HQ isn't better than the NQ NM items, the difference is almost negligible.
Or they could just do what they did with Silver tricorne/Dodore doublet etc... NMs drop mats then everybody has a role to play in the ECONOMY and COMMUNITY which is foundational to a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE GAME.

To be fair, things like the Dodore Doublet is what he was asking for. Also from what I hear the doublet's only better on favored classes, otherwise there is better gear out there.
That's not what you were initially talking about though. I don't disagree that they should have more NM drops like that but they haven't stated they won't. Quit doom-saying, the sky isn't falling. Chill out bro.
It was implied in what I was saying. Why else would I bemoan the introduction of premade godly drops if it wasn't on behalf of crafters? You thought I was saying it "just because"?
Thanks but I leave the trolling to others.
