    Suggestion: Differnt colors for Sacred Prism (WHM)

    So i would have a suggestion for whitemages Sacred Prism in PvP (For those of you who dont know, its the circular area where everyone in your party suffers 40% less physical damage and gets an additional regen effect). The Problem here is that you cant see wich of those was casted by the WHM of your team. Yea, you get a buff that shows you when you stay in the correct one, but we all know how much trouble is going on in a 72 man slaughter game and how much Sacred Prisms are casted at the same time so you never know wich one is actually for you other than running into every Sacred Soil and hope that its the right one.

    My suggestion would be, that the Sacred Prism/Soil for your party gets another color (maybe a darker blue or something) so everyone in your team directly knows where the safe area is. I only play WHM in pvp and i have seen it already so many times that my party members do stay outside of Sacred Prism/Soil because they just dont know that this specific one is working for them. I think it could be a great addition.

    It's the same issue with Sacred Soil in 24 man instances.

    I am sure there will be similar concerns when the WHM AoE is introduced from 3.0 as well. :/ Unsure if they'll actually implement anything though...

    In white mage mirror matches its a viable tactic to stagger your own prism over the enemies to try and trick them into staying inside the wrong one after theirs has timed out

    I'm not sure about it, i think it's holding the hands of the players a little too much and takes away from the match itself

    Calm down Ceve Arthu, don't shoot the messenger. At least they replied to you. Color changing is likely far easier to develop than a fundamental component like the duty finder.

    They want players to only PvP as part of their GC, at least for now. So yeah, in the meantime they'll address more minor issues obviously.

    Only the fix isnt changing the duty finder to something new, its changing it to the original version thats used for all non-pvp queues

    Its also hilarious that this is the first reply we've had here in almost a year and its about something so minor its barely worth mentioning

    Rather than tinting the many ground effects a different color a la mage LB, the most accessible option is to keep friendly ground AoE as-is and trace the perimeter of the enemy ground effects with a thick dotted line.

    This assumes the ground effects aren't deliberately ambiguous for a lost-in-the-heat-of-battle experience.

    I'll be honest, it is frustrating that this' the first reply we've had on the PVP Board in almost a year... a lot of complaints & numerous, larger threads having gone ignored & still remaining so. Feels hurtful.
