    Yep, sounds and looks like (based on your pics) artifacts caused by the GPU memory getting too hot.

    Get a can of compressed air and blow all the cat hair out of the fans and it should be good.

    Make sure to pull out the Laptop battery and discharge the system by holding down the power button for a few seconds before blowing the fans out.
