afaik (according to various translations) you get a buff that lasts X seconds long and when you're hit for all your health, you live @1 and enter a zombie stat where you're unkillable. Within the time of that zombie state, you need to be healed to full and that will remove the status. If you're not healed to full in that time, you die. So you don't need to be at full by the end of the timer, just within it - not hard to do with a Bene/Lustrates/Cures. It's no Hallowed Ground, but it's a good immunity CD, at least if that's how it works.

It sounds better than Hallowed Ground. Based on the description it has the same effect of 10 seconds of invincibility (zombie buff) that auto casts if you reach 0 while under the effect of Living Dead. That eliminates the animation delay, which is Hallowed Ground's only weakness, in exchange for marking you for death. Worth it imo.

Its more like HG, but not really better, I think. According to information ( a lot of GOSSIP xD) spread around internet:

    - DRK uses Living Dead.
    - Buff is there for 15-20 secs. DRK still receive dmg, still can be healed too. Nothing uncommon.
    - IF DRK get killed while LD buff is on, LD buff is removed and replaced for The Walking Dead (lets call it TWD, lol).
    - While TWD is on, you can't die, because you already dead, but probably you can move, attack and eat your friends.
    - If not healed to full HP while TWD is on, you will die (for real this time).
    - If healed to full HP, TWD will be turned off, no matter how much time is left in TWD buff.

So, its something between HG and Holm.

Confirmed what happens when under Zombie status ^

Seriously, if Holmgang gets buffed (which it should imo and I feel it might happen) then Living Dead will be just as bad or worse. Living dead will require the last second bene to get the full effect of the invincibility and not have it cut off too early. The only thing its got over Holmgang is the auto cast but I've been playing war since launch and I've gotten pretty good at knowing when to pop Holmgang. Six seconds is still too short though even in current content.
