Using account on another pc bannable?

One of my RL friends computer needs to get repaired ,so they wanted to use my pc to do a few things to prepare for heavenswards.(crafting,dailies,poetic cap ect).

They will be using a one time password ,but does anyone know if square considers this a bannable offense?

I seriously doubt this is a bannable offense. I can't speak on an official capacity, obviously, but you're not really breaking any rules that I have ever seen. You're just playing your characters on someone else's rig.

I think where the line gets blurry is if you log into their account and do things, but even then, there's hardly any way to track that.

They won't ban you. I built a new PC and installed the game on there. Nothing bad happened.

I highly doubt this since at their cafe in JP you can log in and play there so I don't think it is. Since its just a log in screen and the data is saved on their servers I don't see any reason why him using your PC to play his account is a banable offense.

Nope. Whenever I have to travel from my place to family's place, I use the pc available. Same with a friend coming over to my place and using their account on my computer. It is totally fine to do. Your account is not tied to the PC.

The only thing SE can track about your account usage is the IP address associated with it, and even then they won't ban the account unless they see it trying to be logged into from different addresses rapidly.

Yup, when this happens they simply request you to change your password.

And even then they wouldn't likely ban it. They'd be more likely to lock it and send you an email indicating suspicious activity and ask you to change your password for fear of your account being hacked.

Pretty much this. Only think I noticed about this is if you use the security token, it doesn't seem to cause that flag. I've logged on 5 different devices and it's never locked my account.

Sometimes when you sign in on a new device or IP address SE will force you to change your password as a security measure to safeguard against people stealing your account, but if you have a one time password then it isn't an issue.
