Remembering ability sets for each class

I haven't been playing too often the last 6 months, but something that irked me before i quit was having to reset abilities for the class i jump to. changing from lancer to pugilist and having to set everything up before i could do something, I think it would be nice if when you change your class it reconfigures your abilities to how they were the last time you were on that class. If there's something in place or coming soon that already allows this please explain

I agree. Storing/saving your skill set when changing weapons should be mandatory. Get rid of all the little time sinks that add nothing to the game SE!

I don't know why they dont do it...

its whats make me stay on one class , too lazy to reset everything...

This is why I change classes via macros that reset my gear and abilities. If the game could do this without me needing to make macros, all the better, but not very urgent in my opinion.

In one of Yoshi-P's letter he says they are working on abilities to be saved to each class so when u change classes the abilities change aswell...also when u learn a new ability it will automatically show up on ur action bar...now he didnt say when this will happon but if i had to guess we will see this when they add the job system patch 1.21
