Worst Fate Wait

So I am currently finishing up my atma / animus books and I have been fairly lucky on my waits .... longest was 2.5 hours on one in east shroud (I forgot the name its where you kill the fungus guys). Yes I got Tower of power and seps in like 1 hour each.

I was curious about what the longest wait anyone has had for a single fate to spawn?

The only time I've waited for Fates specifically was during atma books, and I got REALLY lucky since all but five of them spawned almost immediatly when I got there. Two of them I waited fourty minutes on (One in Outer La that escapes me, the other being Seps.)

Technically I had to wait on the four Ixal bird one for over 8 hours, but that was because of Maint/getting out of a dungeon and just BARELY failing because of a time out.

I had a similar wait of about 3 hours, and a couple that took over an hour. I can't recall which ones, I did them on SCH back when it was new content. Now I'm coming back around on WHM, and haven't had a terrible wait yet, but I've got several books left containing FATE's with long pop times, hopefully that works out ok. At least this time I can farm for alexandrites with my Zeta weapon in the meantime.

About 5 hours for the fate Taken in South Thal (before they increased the spawn rate of fates)

Yes I waited between 5 and 6 hours for Taken before they adjusted that nonsense. I've done the books for 8/10 classes, and this fate was by far the longest wait time generally. Heroes of the 2nd (or whatever it's called) once took a good few hours, but other times it was nowhere near as bad.

The fate in the southwest corner of the Coerthas map gave me the most grief.

As did East Shroud I suppose, but that Fate needs a NPC activation to begin iirc and I didn't know it for the first few days of waiting for it ;x

That fate in East Shroud has always been dreadfully long.
I remember on my first Relic (before they supposedly increased spawn time) i waited 4 hrs one day, logged off and waited another 4 the next day.
This time around for another Relic it was over 3 hrs wait
Thankfully i always got the fate that is down bellow the burning wall area in time as i always take the wrong turns trying to go down there, haha

I cringe whenever Taste of Fear gets timed out.

I camped that place for a straight 4 hours. With a lot of Fate parties downing fates, I thought it was going to be a fast spawn. It wasn't.

I ended up helping to kill Brontes around 2 times? And you know how hard is it to spawn that one.
