Makes sense Chocobo in 11 could Dig why not turn it into a DoH job -- could dig / scavenge from grass - dirt
pull up btn and miner mats or w/e
Very nice idea, very well thought out. I dont know about making it a class, but who knows! :O
Kinda off topic but related, the reps only work Monday through Friday, Pacific Time, I believe (Or central?). They might be seeing your topic from home, but an official response might not come 'till Monday or beyond.
I know but I've had this thread in the forums all week, problem is it keeps dropping off the front page 'cos of all the other threads.Very nice idea, very well thought out. I dont know about making it a class, but who knows! :O

Still, the thread has been labelled 'hot topic' now so I'm getting hopefull at least for a response
And thanks for the likes, it all helps to make this idea get noticed ^.^
@Fallenraine - That's not a bad idea, I hadn't played FFXI enough to know how chocobos worked (or even get one to begin with), but I could see them digging to get materials. though since we already have mining and botany, I can't see how a chocobo could dig up anything different from those two, so it'd be a bit odd to have it as a gathering class that can get identical materials to another. Still you never know.
Ah well, I have an idea for another class/job now too (I get fully developed ideas on them about once a week) It's gonna be a battle-based class this time too, with an interesting twist
So after I've had a nap, I'll be posting a new thread to describe my idea for a 'Reaper' class![]()
Konata, il just copy your whole wall of text to my wishlist, ok?(I haven't even read through it yet, but i love it ^^)
I came to think of something Konata, if we as harvester could easily get a chocobo, no many chocobos wild, wouldnt it be a bit easy? Lets for example Say that you have to run the chocobo to the nearest city all on yourself, and on the way the chocobo may choose to do different things and mini-games will pop up to counter them. If you succesfully get the chocobo to a city it is yours. As you get higher level, it will be easier to get better chocobos, and as you do these mini-games your exp will go up. Like the idea?![]()
This is the hardest part for a programmer, people like you are almost just as important as those who put the ideas to lifeLol I wish. I'm only good at thinking up ideas and writing them down, other than that I'm pretty much useless. I can't make music, I can't draw, I couldn't write stories/plots/scripts, I can't do 3D model crafting or 2D graphics.
However if you know of a job in the gaming industry for someone who simply comes up with ideas and writes them down, please let me know what it's called so I can try and find + apply for one XD![]()
Fat chocobo could speak in some of the games! If anything I pray to Mab that this 'never before seen usage of chocobos' doesn't involve them being able to speak.
I can already picture a chocobo sitting on a throne in the middle of Black Shroud with a crown on his head saying "Ah good to see you old chap, how goes the adventuring?" in an olde English accent.
The image makes me cringe more than trying to eat an entire packet of Swizzles Sour Candy all at once.![]()
Too say it this way, people get scared of a wall of text, might be the reason people dont read it. Also, this is the first time i see the post when clicking "new posts" button, and i do that quite often :P I love all the ideas though ^^
