There's going to be new players...welcome to MMO's! At least that particular fight isn't even half as bad as it used to be. (Though I wish it was) But I digress, why not offer helpful pointers in a friendly way? Usually, Terrotaur is tanked near where the bee's spawn, that way the tank can flash the bees as soon as they pop. This allows flexibility when Doom is sent out, if the party is relatively close to the center platform, that way they have less running distance to the other platforms...all while trying to DPS the bees. Just try to be friendly about it when you offer advice, don't bark orders. (Not saying you did, just sayin.) But, I don't know...I play on a JP server so 90% of the time I can't really offer too many pointers, other than marking the bees with a 1 if necessary. (That tends to be enough to get the point across)
Ah right...
It might've been that. I always thought about keeping aggro on Terrotaur much of the time, but I'll do it that way if I can.
Not instant death, it applies Doom debuff. If counter on Doom is allowed to expire, then you die. The glowing platform removes the Doom effect.
...and to point out, the Flash icon is darkened out when I'm in that dungeon.
I have the same problem in some dungeons with SCH and Stoneskin. Try moving Flash to one of the first cross class slots. I've been told the later the slot a skill is in, the earlier a skill is level synced.
Anyways, if you've been explaining to people what to do and they haven't been listening or have gotten offended for a dumb reason, that's on them. I wouldn't worry much about it. You should explain what to do to people, especially if they're new though. That fight is the first one in the game to introduce instant death mechanics, so it's important to explain since it's quite different from fights up that point.
Since you're warrior, you'll want to have Flash in the first spot of your cross class ability slots. (Starting from the left)
