Hello, Live Chat Support? Also, question to FFXIV Team about Promotional Codes.

Hello,

I'd like your knowledge on if there exists Live Chat Support for this service, I've looked as best as I could, but I didn't find it anywhere.

If it isn't possible to get Live Chat Support, can someone responsible for these stuff answer me here?

I have opened my old Boxes with my videogame collection from when I moved 5 years ago.
I found my FFXIV 1.0 Collector's Edition.
I never opened it because I wanted to play on PS3. I had bought it for Collection.

I never opened it, but now I want to if:

1) Can I use the Onion Knight Helm Code?
2) Can I use the Registration Code to get 30 Days?

I don't care for the 30 days, but I REALLY want the OK Helm.
Thing is, my 1.0 Copy is USA version. I play FFXIV:ARR on EU version.

Is it still possible to register it? And if it is, can I use the USA Code on my EU Account? And if it isn't, could you convert it to a EU Code? I have seen you are doing this for the Moogle Earrings (Which I'll be registering soon ).

There should be live chat support on the EU Support site, but I can help with some of this!

For the Onion Knight helm, to my knowledge, it should not be region locked and did not have a set expiration date, again to my knowledge. They may have force expired them by now but I know you could still redeem them after launch.

With your PC registration code that came with it, however, those are region locked so you would need an NA account to use it on your current service account. The 30 days would also be only if you did not have a PC version registered yet of ARR.

Do you have the Helm? How many Digits does the USA Onion Knight Code have? To see if it would fit to EU MogStation.

I can get back to you in a couple hours, but if I'm remembering correctly it was the same length as all their promotional items thus far that were released with physical goods, like the codes in the soundtracks for minions, which I believe was a XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX code format, so 20 digit, code. I'll check on it when I get home to be sure though.

Thank you very much, if it is indeed 20 digit code, then it must be supported by MogStation because it wants a 20 digit code when I try to input one. Hopefully it is not Region Locked.

Ok, I just opened it and used it.

It doesn't work. It says in red letters something like:


"The code is from another Region. You may only register FFXIV codes from your own Regions."


Where do I contact Live Support?
