Yeah, $40 and the court costs of a real license definitely beats... however much real weddings cost nowadays. Especially if you wanted a big church wedding. In my opinion its a more meaningful than a Vegas wedding, and far less financially straining than that or a regular IRL wedding. I'm happy for you. ^_^
