I read through again and saw one thing I'm sad about:

The following changes will be made to Gamepad settings in FINAL FANTASY XIV Config:

* The function to bring up the emote list will be abolished.

EDIT: Actually never mind, if we can access the micro menu now, then that means I can still access the emote list, I just won't have quicker access to it.
