Why do you need a color for gear below your level? Seems dumb that you wouldn't get full stats from gear if you are over its optimal rank.

Ya should only be 1 color for below your level... maybe to help recognize you have some really outdated gear in your possession? xD Hehe idk

You do get full stats if you are over it's level, but if you are way over level your just gimping yourself.

I feel like the proposed coloring of names to identify level of rarity is a little boring.

I think it would be nice to have something where the text is nicer than just having a color change...like an embossed and shiny text or something like that, that gives it a little luster and lets you know it's special.

A cluster of sparkly coloured stars revolving around the items icon to signify it's rarity?

Not rare = Nothing
Uncommon = single star rotation around icon
Rare = a few stars sparkling outwards from the icon
Superfly = Full blown starburst effect
