It's the same side at Japanese side, they are the developers, there are stuff that doesnt need player's suggestions because they knows what directions they are going with. Which, im glad for because alot of people here thinks they are some genius in game development and thinks that their idea will definitely saves the world from the impending doom of the MMO genre and if they are not heard of, the game will ultimately fails.
Don't get me wrong, i am not against suggestions, i am sure they took every single suggestions we've came up/posted within this board, put in on a paper and discuss it.. but, they will be the one to decides if they are going to be implemented in the end. I am just against what i said earlier.
does this makes me fanboys too? oh noes.

Green is better, yellow seems more warning your that your about to do something wrong.

I agree - yellow to me means caution, implying the gear might not be as optimal right now. Green means go! I think green for optimal would work best.
I love the changes!!!!!!!!!!!! It is like a wish list and almost everyone was checked off with yes.

Green! Green! Green!

LIKE HERE FOR YELLOW

This may differ in other areas of the world, but to me the color green signifies a sort of purity/unity. It's a "cool" color, as opposed to "hot" like yellow. Green, to me, would be a much much better choice for "optimal level". I would say do red -> orange -> yellow -> green -> white/grey. I don't know how many steps there are, but this is just kind of a standard progression of bad -> good colors. Hots indicate a sense of urgency/impulse/warning, thus hot colors should be used to indicate the negative end of the spectrum. Cools should be used once the negative threshold is crossed.

The above is about as logical as it gets. I support green for an optimal match. White/Gray if you are well above optimal (IE LVL 50 varrying a R30 weapon)This may differ in other areas of the world, but to me the color green signifies a sort of purity/unity.
