Thread: SCH Considering Transfer & LF 3.0 Static

On Behemoth but considering xfer.

First, about Tonberry:

1) How are statics here in general? Fast progression, or more casual?
2) Hows the community? Also: Eng or a mix of Eng and JP?

-About Me-

Played SCH since 2.0. Tried most jobs and will try Astro. I do not enjoy DPS jobs (I DPS as SCH though!).

Started 2.0 with T1-5 with randoms, no statics, cleared all. Then left game as SCOB came, returned 2-3 months ago, cleared T9-13 with PF/DF.

For 3.0 I will join a static, more free time now. If you want a SCH who has invested significant effort learning the class & have a static comprised of members who wont figuratively avert their eyes when saying they know their class very well, please get in touch with me.

GMT+12 Time Zone but flexible. Prefer raid ~2-3 hours ~2-3 days a week but flexible. Not after server firsts, but do want to be well above average in progression.

FYI I prefer static in LS, not FC. Maybe if the FC is pure raid focused.

I don't know if the raiding times that we would be doing in Heavensward is what you are looking for, but I am organising raiding of Alexander hard mode. We are a bit over the place in GMT, I am GMT+10 but we have some people on GMT+8 and some people in New Zealand too . I am hoping to get raiding going on maybe 2-3 nights a week.

Hello, our static is looking for a healer right now (SCH, but I understand it may change in 3.0).

To answer some of your questions:

1) Statics progression can be considered fairly fast and/or above average.
2) The community is nice. There's a mix of JP and Eng, but you'll see a lot of English players.

Our raid schedule is Wednesday, Thursday @ 3PM GMT+10, and Friday @ 1PM GMT+10. It may or may not change in 3.0, but everything should be adjustable. I'm a little paranoid about jumping in too soon, just because I know strats will differ on another server & data center and want to familiarize myself with things a bit more.

But I will soon enough.

Also feels like there's some odd latency, as if it's not entirely stable with minor spikes. Looking at the ping shows this happening too, jumping from ~170ms->210ms and in that range. Sits at 170ms and jumps a bit every 5-10 seconds or so.
