Australian preorder codes from retailers

I preordered the physical CE of heavensward from ebgames when it was first available in AUS and i've still yet to get my code.

whenever i call EBgames about the issue they always say "it will be available closer to launch" or "the game isnt out yet" so it makes me think i might end up missing out on early access.

has anyone else had better luck than i have, or maybe can shed a little light on the issue?

Speaking to EB Games myself I was informed that SE is distributing the preorder codes to them at regular intervals, and from there EB Games will send them to customers according to chronological order of their preorder, so those who preordered recently hence have to wait a little bit (like myself) - the ones who have received their codes already will be those who preodered early on.

I know it's annoying, a friend of mine was sent their code last week and has already registered it and is ready to go, where as I'm like you and still waiting for my preorder code (my friend got the standard edition though, where as my order is for the Collector's Edition).

Either way, EB told me to wait another week or two and if I still haven't received it, to get back in touch with them and to see what they can do (apparently they're meant to be receiving more codes from SE within the next week or so).

Just letting you guys know.
EB Gave me a code last week that I successfully used and unlocked pre-order content. The two guys at my local EB play FFXIV so it could be a case of these people don't know what they are talking about.
(This is for PC).

What I mean is, I went in and asked about it and they gave it to me. All the codes have already been released. (Except ps3/ps4 I believe).

out of curiosity Arupopo, did you get the collectors edition or the standard? the one time i managed to get someone on the phone from EB that knew half of what they were talking about he said there was a difference between the standard and collectors when it come to the preorder codes.

I went to EB to ask about the physical CE today ... and walked out when they told me it'd be 300 dollars.

Then i went to JB and they tried to sell the standard edition for 80.

I think ill just stick with the Digital CE. More content for less money. huzzuh Australia. FML.

I got the ARR+HW because ill be transferring from PS3 - PC come HW.
