We don't really need an auction house, the market wards do everything an AH does except that you have to pick up your item(s).

have to agree here. AH is not needed. Wards can be tweaked to the point where they functionally replace an AH.... which they pretty much already do.

Wards are a basic AH, just with an unintuitive interface and extra walking. Wards are a type of AH at this point, there is no "AH not needed, I'm happy with Wards."

Exactly i dont think AH is needed anymore since we have what Retainer Wards that function similar with AH. So yea Adding the price list history as suggested by Solfleur and you have a upgrade Market Wards!

I agree, the crew will make the basic Auction House we currently have better in the future, since they ditched the Wards system by definition as soon as they added a search function.

I assume you're joking? For one thing, it is too time consuming in an already tedious game of required crafting/farming to look up prices, even by using the Market Wards. Even if a player WANTS to go itemsearch by itemsearch and find a good price that way, if there's 0 of that item, you can't even go back and check what the last one sold for. Inflation is already rampant and new players starting out have no chance of advancement--we are priced out of the game at the "get go". I can only suspect two things. 1. SE is just too plain lazy/greedy to dedicate the necessary resources to address this issue or 2. though gil slaving/selling is supposedly not allowed, they are encouraging it....perhaps as a money making venture with slaves of their own. Either way, this should have been foreseen and addressed in beta. I am strongly considering leaving SE and while I can't stand WoW, I'm sure I can find some other GAME to PLAY that isn't that much WORK! Where is the fun. I mean I know it's Asian culture to ingrain mindless slavery among it's citizens, but we're not all Asian and many of us HAVE jobs!
