Music of Heavensward

Since there is no subforum for music and we only have a thread for lyrics, I figured I would create this thread for you all to discuss any thoughts and observations related to the new music comming in 3.0 The last live letter gave us tons of new material, ranging from scary pipe organs (I want to fight vampires with that music in the background) to rock.
And we finally heard the main theme of Heavensward. Honestly Dragonsong left me puzzled as I was under the impression that the music from the trailer, which gets remixed over and over again for previews, is the new main theme. We need Hildibrand to figure out what the song from the trailer is.

That Allagan dungeon theme. I haven't had an eargasm like that since Force Your Way.

There is maybe one or two tracks I like in ARR. I always mute the music and play something else. This won't happen In Heavensward, all the tracks I've heard so far are incredible. My favorites are the one in the Job Actions video, and the one that plays when they show the library dungeon in the Dungeon Crawl video. Groovy !

Hmmm, actually I could see it happen. For the very big boss fight fates. Still, it would be good to get some dev info. It reminded me of the Type-0 soundtrack done by Takeharu Ishimoto. And not just the bridge part, but the whole song. Provided it is just one song and not several.

My favourites are the Dravanian Forelands and Dravanian Hinterlands tracks; something about them reminds me a lot of FFXI.

What I found odd is that this so far unnamed Soken theme seems to play the same role Answers played in ARR (featured in the cinematics, remixed all the time for different places) even though the actual main theme is Dragonsong by Uematsu.

ARR has its own main theme in addition to Answers (which is used mostly in the Binding Coil). One of the (random) bard song casts plays it, as well as many of the random area themes, the Praetorium, and Ul'dah's city theme, among others. I suspect we've merely stumbled upon Heavensward's answer to that theme.

Thanks. I never knew this one. Answers is cited everywhere as the main theme and since it is featured in the opening cinematic as well as the end credits I didn't argue.

But I still want the title to this other song. And that of the Allagan rock.
