What happened to the Zeppelin Ramps in 1.0?

There were several places around La Noscea and maybe Thanalan as well, where you might find zeppelin ramps. Hinting at further air ship travel of a sorts. Not quite sure what happened to them but there are none to be found in 2.0. We will eventually see those zeppelins come to life anytime soon?

Were those slated for beastmen use only?

You can imagine my curiosity is running wild right now and really would like to know what were they there for and if they are done for now.

Lore reason? Bahamut's Mega Flare wrecked em, and those that weren't beyond repair were disassembled for use in repairs.

There is one in South Shroud. Near the zone line to Thanalan. A bit in the forest at the right side of the way if you com from Tranquill.

The original idea seemed to have been access points for quick travel, which never panned out.
They exist in the Frontlines starting areas still, and you can go up them right into your airship! There's another in South Shroud, where Coeurlcutters have taken refuge.

As Canadane said, one of the old (never used) 1.0 airship ramps still exists and is found in South Shroud - it's been taken over as a hideout by the Moonkeeper bandit tribe the Courelcutters (a FATE spawns there called 'A Tale of Two Tails', against the Bandit leader Yabbi Two-Tails).

Apparently airships dock at Highbridge based on npc dialogue, but sadly that is never actually shown.
