Unknown Soldier Stuck

While fighting Unknown Soldier this evening 11 sept 11 1505 Unknown Soldier used his dissapearing move and stayed gone, I can target him, dmg him infact he is at 1 hp. He will not die and the only way to target him is by using the target last mob that dmged you key. My party members can do the same thing target and do dmg but no death, we did try logging to see if it was us, but its not.
