How is he supposed to gear up properly if he kicked when trying to get the gear?

While the gear he had on can be excusable, and a little bit on accessories, even a white helmet should have been bought by that point. If he's dieing a lot because he hasn't though to atleast gear himself up from some npc merchent items, its a good reason for a kick.
