I'd have to have been there and seen it to know what was going on here. I've had healers blaming tanks for being undergeared in Haukke, while claiming to be Coil raiders, when the tank was just barely at level for Haukke, and the healer was doing Aero and Stone instead of bothering to time heals to hit just after large attacks or concentrate on heals at all, really.

On the other hand, as someone who tanks at 50 all the bloody time (I really really prefer monk, but dem queue times tho), I kinda hate it when healers don't DPS or are told not to. A healer who makes judicious use of cleric stance and DPSing can really really really speed up a run. I've even seen them out DPS the DPS (granted, that only happens when the DPS isn't that good, but, hey, that's when you need/want heal damage most).

BLM - Trigger happy finger on LB button. Used it every chance he got, even at Lv 1 at the beginning of the boss.
If he was LB pulling that's vaguely annoying for the same reason any kind of pulling is. Other than that, it depends on the boss. Lots of people have been saying you SHOULD use it right away, but I disagree. You should use LB at the most annoying phase of the fight, to help push past it sooner. For instance, even if you go into Lady Amawhatever in Haukke with a full LB bar, I'd suggest the BLM save it until after she calls all her adds and LB the entire group at once. Or in Keeper of the Lake I'd prefer the LB be used on the second dragon spawn, because that's the most AoE intensive and annoying bit of the fight, so pushing that phase faster is good, etc. etc.

On the other hand, there's no reason not to drop an LB on the second boss in Wanderer's hard ASAP, and start rebuilding for the last. And the last boss also doesn't have any real phase changes so as soon as both bars are full, let it rip.

So, yeah, depends on the boss.

BRD - Ignored my numbered targets and drew aggro needlessly for the entire run.
I hated Bards so much leveling PLD at that level. I'm not really sure why, but they get way more annoying for aggro pulling than any other class around that level.

That said, my advice: Increase your flashing to 3x, and when something has low enough hp/enough aggro that you know you won't lose it even if you ignore it: ignore it and build on the others. On the last enemy you can then riot blade your MP back up.

Well, yeah, but things are a lot easier once you've leveled, have your bonus stats, and are counting as highest possible level with every gear slot registering as highest possible white (still better than almost anyone else is going to have on a leveling run, despite being statted to white).

Tanking Haukke at 30ish with low level accessories (because accessories are rare af while leveling), and a smorgasbord of left side gear, some of which is 20, some of which is 30, is a little more frustrating than doing it level synked to. . . 32 is it? 33? I forget.

I'm level 50 War and Pld both, too. Do speed runs with both (mostly War, Pld isn't as fun for me), and, yes, going back to a level 30 dungeon now is super easy. It was a different case leveling through them.

When tanking 3 or more mobs, when you have aoe jobs with you, You should flash til you are almost out of mp, then riot blade combo to refill for next pull
At level 50, you do this, yes, when doing large pulls. Doing standard 3 pulls that you do while leveling, however? Nah. You won't have enough time to riot blade back up your MP before the trash is cleared most of the time with only 2 or 3 enemies. Which isn't a terrible thing, but it won't be sustainable without waiting between pulls for mp.

I would suggest he go up to 3x flash, though, instead of 2, like I said above.
