Yeah I pretty much only tank with my FC and LS's now, the abuse is not worth my time also this is a BIG reason why people complain there's a shortage on tanks.

So all in all people you want more tanks in DF it's best to keep your abusive comments to yourselves and maybe then tanks will come back out into the wild :P

Were these completely new player? If so everyone has to learn at some point. If things are that bad, just politely say something in party chat.

BLM LB1 can actually be useful with trash pulls, since you had no melee dps in the party, it wouldnt have had that much impact on saving it for boss fights.

BRD sounded new or didnt care. If you said something to them about attacking mobs in order and they still didnt listen, let them pull a mob off you and let that mob murder them dead, sometimes people have to learn the really hard way.

WHM should have prioritised healing>dps. Nothing much can be said about this, but again, party chat is there to communicate with your party members.

Been leveling smn recently (loving every minute of it too I might add) and in dungeons I put DoTs on all mobs available. If it seems like it is too much for the tank to handle on aggro I back off. It is less efficient but saves time on needless drama. I'd rather spend the extra five minutes doing one at a time throughout the dungeon than be accused of "trolling the tank".

Did a Tam Tara NM yesterday in roulette and checked the tank out. he was far better geared than I was, and yes, I know it is a very low level dungeon so no shield oath or circle of scorn. Guy didn't bother to flash at all the entire dungeon (or rather the entire time he was there). So after the healer "dc's" he throws a fit and leaves. The healer was tanking more than he was so what did the guy expect? If he wasn't sure how it worked I am certain his FC buddies could've explained it or barring that could've read the action help. Definitely wasn't a new player just new to tanking and too stubborn to learn.

Back on topic. Healers these days are pretty much obligated to dps. Coordination is key between tank/healer now. Speak up and let em know you've been gone a while and that you're gear isn't all that great. They take more notice of times to heal then. I used to main whm and let me tell you it can get rough quick. In regards to blm, nothing new there but on the other hand if done properly it can make for a speedy instance. It is about precision and knowing what to do. Dps typically won't use LB until less than/equal to 20% of final boss's hp to avoid the inevitable s#*t storm that ensues. Finally bards are a rare breed, at least the ones with common sense. Come prepared for the worst and hope for the best on that one.

Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.

    Cheer up buttercup!
DF will always have its woes.
If you want to decrease your woes, queue with friends.
Don't have friends? Try to make some. Mor Dhona is a good place to meet people!

It's possible from your story that you were actually the one making it a rough run for others! Just remember that you can't force people to play the way you want them to.
For example, Limit Breaks are not requirements for most Duties and can really be casted whenever without seriously impacting your ability to complete the duty successfully!
If you have high expectations from Duty Finder you will get disappointed all the time. It's a game so you should try to have fun and not let bad DFs bring you down.

If you insist on being a negative nilly, you could always level up in FATEs, where you could play alone if you wanted to.
