It's not a new thing. It's a perpetually existant bad habit for DPS, especially on the first time people play DPS.
@Garlyle - He actually caused 2 wipes with that in reference to the WHM. For the BLM, fair enough, I can agree with that side of the debate.
@UltimateAoe2 - I actually edited them out. I was angry, and I 'sincerely' apologize if I seem like the worst kind of player to you since I'm human and naturally feel emotions like most people do. But thanks though, I'm sure you're one of the better players out there who have the justice to make note of that kind of mistake.
@Everyone else - Honestly I just want to know if this is really something common. Even then, it's difficult to deal with at times. Being told to relax only gets a person so far when it happens repeatedly (this is actually for dailies). The name shout-outs was my fault for sure, and I'm owning up to it and corrected it.
Fair enough then.
Either way, I think every player's got bad habits. It's very rare I can't pick up on something someone does. Some are major, "Did this DPS really just get hit with this mechanic?" "Really, tank? No cooldowns on a massive pull and you want me to heal you through it?" "Holy crap this other healer is literally only using Medica II"; some are more minor, some are definitely more visible than others. And every player tends to include ourselves, even though we think we're faultless; other players are probably picking up on things that we're not even noticing, and there's always more we can be doing better. A lot of the times it isn't even that players are going out of their way to be a bad - it's just that it's never occured to them.
(I'll admit straight up - I went to MNK 50 without ever touching another role, and I learned a lot about playing a DPS from experiencing things from the healer/tank roles)
And remembering that and being ready to just shrug it off and move on is part of the deal, really. There're going to be players who just aren't ready for the content they're attempting and it's going to kind of suck, but, everyone's been there at some point.

For the WHM, DPSing is important, but it sounds like they were fucking up and should have held off a bit if you were dying. For the BLM, I believe he was in the right. He's the only LB that matters in that party, and it helps clear crap faster. For the BRD, it would be nice to follow your targeting order, but I'm also not sure how you lost threat to A BARD (unless you're a PLD pre-40, then my condolences, those levels before Shield Oath suck). Like really, Flash or Overpower 2-3 times, you now have significant threat on everything.
Unless this was the final boss (in which case, save for LB... unless it's a boss you can burn and therefore make LB2 impossible to get), I see nothing wrong here.
No Shield Oath. Was running daily in Haukke, so even if I did have it then I wouldn't be able to use it due to level sync. My usual rotation is nearly always Shield Throw>Flash x2 and then following with whatever is needed. For the WHM, DPSing is important, but it sounds like they were fucking up and should have held off a bit if you were dying. Yeah, I can understand I guess. Truthfully I've developed this kind of mentality due to League of Legends, and it's... bad. Thanks for giving something constructive rather than demeaning like some others would. I'll try and give it a go again, now that I've cooled off and talked to people about it.Fair enough then.

sadly I'm ashamed to call myself a dps well mains anyway f..king dps these days they run dungeons as if they can tank then and attack what ever they feel like frankly i hate tanking .. most healers are good but dps are getting worse and worse one would think they have diff classes and maybe a tank class .. news flash for you retard dps waiting a few secs to see what the tank is attacking and attacking the same thing makes it quicker less stress on the tank/healer .. this is usually the case with lowbie dungeons where they have ilvl 130 mnk etc and think they can tank shit!!! doesnt often happen speed running lvl 50 runs i don't care group them all up and aoe the shit out of them!!!
The bard could also have been overgeared for the content, because even with level synch you still get more stat points that you would if you were actually at-level. Even if neither of these possible circumstances are the case, I'd still say it's more than a little annoying when a DPS ignores the marks. For the WHM, DPSing is important, but it sounds like they were fucking up and should have held off a bit if you were dying.
