Question regarding physical CE's of Shadowbringers and product registration

Hi! This is my first time getting a physical Collector's Edition at launch for Shadowbringers and I opted into normal shipping speeds at the time to save a little bit on money.

We've all gotten our preorder codes for Shadwbringers by now, and will be able to go into early access on the 28th. My main question is for people who bought physical copies and assuming they may not arrive on time as it's a Friday what would we do in that situation?

I've heard (at least from Stormblood's release) that because the Early Access and Standards are in two different listings that the EA would expire 4 days after the game comes out and everyone else to keep playing would register their actual copies of the game.

Since the CE's (like for Steam) have the product code included in the case I just wasn't sure what happens if shipping becomes a hassle and we don't get ours by the official release.

I have had the physical CE for my PS4 since launch 2.0 and I have always ben able to get it the same week at least. The Early Access normally lasts at least a week or so after the game launches so you should be fine as you are still able to play the game on the early access launcher until you input the game code to your account.

Edit: Also side note, the game won't arrive till it's release date Tues July 2, 2019. NOT the Early Access date of June 28, 2019

Ah perfect! I wasn't sure if it the EA lasted till exactly the 2nd before your original preorder code is null and void. I was worried with the weekend and the 4th of July being so close that the postal services may be behind for some. That makes me feel much more at ease. I was worried I would have to buy the game through Steam just to play it until my actual copy comes in with the CE.
