Cross alliance commendations

I was doing a Wod run. Was one of 'those' runs. But we ended up clearing. But not before I got to witness someone from alliance C do BOTH chains on Cerby as no one else knew what they were doing (I was MT at the time and was trying to pull wolfsbane off healers while holding cerby, good times, good times).

As there are language barriers on my server I did a bow and congratulate to them, but would have been nice to have been able to give my comm to them. Does this option exist? Should it exist?

I wish that we could had the option to do so, for example: In WoD, when I was tanking Healers and Summoners in another party were doing all the healing/Raises while our healers were hugging the floors most of the run. I would have gladly commend one of them, so did most of my party including the dead-a-lot healers.

After the fight you could see "/a Thanks for the heals team C".

I would love to do that as well, especially a tank that isn't in my group that takes charge and MT's instead of standing around for 5m wondering who is gonna do it. Also when Healers help out other teams or I see another groups DPS/Tank pull adds off the healers ... so much you can give comms for and they probably go unnoticed ;_;

I second this and be it only the one out of 5 other bards in a 24 man run that alternates Foes with my lolbrd <3 or cross heals raises the DPS that tanks the adds etc etc

It would be a good idea to give extra commendations for those who really try to do everything. I feel like at times i end up healing another group so much or a MT from another group because they have really bad Healers that my own group just thinks I'm crap and i get maybe 1 commendation from the other Healer who is watching the fight as much as I am so they got what i was doing XD.

There are times when i notice somebody in another group is just really good and on the ball that i wish i could commend them like 2 OT's are away picking their nose somewhere while i face tank Wolfsbanes in WoD then some BLM starts pulling them off using their defensive CD's to hold them while people figure out there are adds. And on the flipside when you get the OT who just Tanks all 3 of them using their CD's properly so i can just stand behind them and throw eye for an eye and stoneskin on them. It makes me facepalm when you get an OT that cries about tanking all 3.

But yeah I'd be all for it just to give people the credit they deserve for having to carry all the trash in the raid.

My wife and I just recently saw a SMN in WoD basically save a Cerberus stomach team (possibly the entire fight) by deploying their Titan egi to keep the Unknowns at bay while the rest of us whacked the stomach walls. Best we could do was go into alliance chat and (playfully) demand that their entire team give them their comms for it since there was a halfway decent chance we would've wiped otherwise.

Yes, please! So often see certain people go well above and beyond and you want to give them that commi.
